Our Hygienists

We have two hygienists working at Bishopsgate Dental Care, Maria and Miriam. They will welcome you with a smile and would be happy to help with improving the health of your mouth through comprehensive gum examination and treatment including cleaning, oral hygiene instructions and diet advice.

Maria Nirlén

Maria qualified at the University of Stockholm, Sweden in 2000 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has since attended many post-graduate hygienist courses, just some of which include periodontal disease, tooth whitening, implants, smoking cessation, dental health and tooth restoration. Maria moved to London in 2008 when she joined our team.

Miriam Brassova

Miriam moved from Slovakia to the UK in 2002. She started as a dental nurse in 2003 and enjoyed nursing for many years where she gained a variety of qualifications which include dental nursing, oral health education and implant nursing.

After seven years of continuing development of her career within dentistry, she is now a qualified dental hygienist from Bristol University.

Miriam enjoys working with all our patients to help improve their oral hygiene and smile. She believes that effective communication with her patients can lead to them achieving excellent oral hygiene.
