In a recent interview for ‘Ask The Doctor’ magazine, Gina explained why she is so passionate about Invisalign…
‘When I took over Bishopsgate Dental Care in 2010, I had a very clear vision of what kind of dentistry I wanted to provide. I believe in prevention and so I try to be as conservative as possible. This is why I believe so strongly in Invisalign’.
‘With Invisalign, I am using what you already have – your own teeth- but moving them into a better, more beautiful position. Invisalign straightens the teeth using a series of nearly clear aligners that are custom made for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every 2 weeks, your teeth will gradually move, little by little, week by week towards the projected final position.’
Invisalign treatment process
At the initial Invisalign consultation, Gina will ask what it is that you don’t like about your teeth, and what in particular makes you unhappy with your smile. By doing this, she can understand your concerns and worries and plan your treatment for the best possible result.
She would then scan both your upper and lower teeth with our new, state of the art iTero scanner which will instantly produce a 3D digital model of your teeth on the computer screen. The iTero scanner allows Gina to then produce, almost immediately, a simulation of how your teeth could look once Invisalign treatment was complete.
